Career Technical Education – [CTE] Human Services Career Cluster Early Childhood Pathway

Program of Study [POS] includes: Participants – explore one class Concentrators – pursue more than

one class, And may earn minimal credit Completers – follow all the classes in

a POS and earn the most college credit for those classes

.

Career Clusters: are groupings of occupations and industries with similar training.(Career clusters provide the knowledge and skills students need as they follow a PATHWAY towards their career goal.

A Career Pathway: represents a grouping of occupations within a cluster based on commonalities.

A Program of Study: consecutive courses planned to prepare students in high school for entry to or success in a career or postsecondary education.
