The Tint Testa is a photo optic instrument used to measure

quickly, simply and accurately, visible light transmission (VLT)

through any type of glass or film. Comprising a light transmitter

and receiver, the Tint Testa is designed to determine the amount

of VLT that passes from the transmitter through tinted glass.

Many authorities and experts agree that less than 35% VLT on

car windows is dangerous.

The Tint Testa is used: In accordance with Government

regulation, for vehicle safety inspections, in traffic accident

investigation, by police in roadside inspections

The Tint Testa is operated by aligning the transmitter and

The Tint Testa is operated by aligning the transmitter and

receiver on opposite sides of the glass and pressing the “Enter”

button. The results will appear on the display. All glass and tint

types can be tested on vehicles or buildings. The receiver can

measure visible light of any “colour” or frequency.

The Tint Testa provides a measurement of the amount of VLT

passing between thetransmitter and the receiver. This

measurment is expressed as a percentage. The test results can

be viewed on the unit’s display screen, or alternatively,

information can be transmitted by infra-red, to a serial printer.

Data can alsobe downloaded to a PC and then printed.

PORTABLE BRAKE TESTERThe BrakeCheck is a fully self-contained, portable, battery-

powered device that can be used by workshops,

government traffic authorities, testing and inspection

stations etc. to test and report on vehicle brake efficiency.

The BrakeCheck can be used to test any type of vehicle,

including motorcycles, and can be positioned anywhere in

the vehicle. The unit determines braking efficiency of both

the Service Brake (Foot brake) and Hand Brake by

measuring deceleration. All operations are performed using

only three buttons on the unit.

The device operates on 4 rechargeable Nickel Cadmium

batteries and will power-down after a period of inactivity to

conserve energy. Results of the last test performed are

available for viewing and printing even after a power-down.

With the BrakeCheck, test results can be viewed on the

display or downloaded to a PC. Serial printing can be done

using the optional Infrared Link (or cable) printer.

It should be noted that the BrakeCheck may not comply

with your local Government Regulations concerning brake

testing of road registered vehicles. Local Statutory

requirements should be determined before a Brake Tester

is selected.

NSW compliant testers, Brake-Testa Millennium and Brake-

Testa Millennium HV for heavy vehicles.

This is the average brake efficiency figure - an
