A Swiss-made cogwheel train transports you to the top of Corcovado, where the legendary Christ the Redeemer statue resides. For dinner, dig in at the barbecue restaurant and savour the samba show’s native dances and percussion music after.

DAY 4RIO DE JANEIRO → LIMABreakfast, Lunch, DinnerTime again to take to the air towards Lima. This is where you’ll find the regal Government Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, Santo Domingo Convent, as well as the perky, yellow-splashed City Hall at the Main Square of Lima. Drop by the urban San Isidro and Miraflores districts and the Parque del Amor, where you can wind down with a view of the Pacific Ocean.

LIMA → CUSCO → SACRED VALLEYBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerBegin the second leg of the expedition in Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire. Scale to the mountain peak to reach Ollantaytambo. Make a pit stop at Awanakancha, a delightful shop housing unique Peruvian handicraft, as well as the thriving Pisac Market.

DAY 7SACRED VALLEY → MACHU PICCHU → CUSCO Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerRide first class on the Vistadome train, fitted with glass ceilings for sky gazing, which will take you to Aguas Calientes. Here, take a bus ride to the 15th century Machu Picchu archaeological site, which made it to the UNESCO World Heritage list. Get up close to the relics at The Great Temple of the Sun, The House of the Priest, The Sacred Plaza and Inihuatana. Finally, take a Cusco-bound train and return to the hotel for the night.

DAY 8CUSCO → PUNOBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerFeast your eyes on some of the most

stunning landscapes of Puno, a city in Peru. At 4,300m above the sea level, La Raya is the natural boundary between Cusco and Puno. Next up are the ancient Raqchi ruins, also known as the Temple of the God Wiracocha. The final stop is the Andahuaylillas village, within which lies a gorgeous 17th century church, adorned with angels and cherubs.

DAY 9PUNO → LAKE TITICACA → LA PAZBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerBoat excursion of Lake Titicaca to visit the famous Uros reed floating islands and Taquille island. You will observe the artificial reed platforms inhabited by the ancient ethnic groups and one of the most original ways of life on earth, get a chance to have a close encounter with the locals. Continue journey crossing the border to Bolivia, La Paz - the highest administrative capital in the world!

DAY 10LA PAZ → UYUNI → COLCHANI Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerTake a domestic flight depart to Uyuni, the number two tourist attraction in Bolivia. Visit to Salar de Uyuni, the world’s largest salt desert offers spectacular views, unforgettable optical illusions and plenty

of photo opportunities. During the rainy season (Nov-Mar), the salt flat could be flooded and it gives a different impression to visitors with all the reflection which make it famous for photography lovers. You will enjoy the 4WD experience for this excursion.

DAY 11UYUNI → LA PAZ Breakfast, LunchTake domestic flight to La Paz. Sightseeing tour of La Paz to see the Plaza Murillo, the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the colonial Church of San Francisco, the viewer of Quilli Quilli and market of the witches. Enjoy some leisurely time with shopping on handicrafts and souvenirs. La Paz is the shopping heaven of Bolivia.

DAY 12LA PAZ → BUENOS AIRESBreakfast, DinnerBoard a flight from La Paz to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.

DAY 13BUENOS AIRESBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerFirst on the programme is a neighbourhood trail, including Recoleta, Palermo and May Square, named after the May Revolution in 1810 occurring in that area. Load up on eye candy at the Pink House, a stylish presidential estate, the Metropolitan Cathedral and Puerto Madero. Ease into the evening at San Telmo, then La Boca, a district of abundant early Italian settlers. A tango performance, accompanied with dinner, makes for a perfect ending to the day.

DAY 14BUENOS AIRES → IGUAZU FALLS (ARGENTINA SIDE)Breakfast, Lunch, DinnerHeading to Northern Argentina, the day starts at the Argentina Iguazu National Park. Here, you can hop on board the Ecological Train, chugging from the forest to the riverbank. Catch a glimpse of the ginormous Devil’s Throat, a 72-metre waterfall.

DAY 15IGUAZU FALLS → SÃO PAULOBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerThe journey continues at Brazil’s Iguazu Falls National Park, where you will descend to the base of the waterfalls.Take a ride up to the highest viewpoint at Salto Floriano. A flight to Sao Paulo awaits later in the day.
