Morphological units It is located in the Plaine of saiss, halfway between the north and the south of Morocco, bounded: In the North, Northwest and Northeast by the province of Moulay Yacoub; in The southwest by the province of Sefrou; Climate : The area has a temperate Mediterranean sub-floor climate; under continental influences during summer and winter. However, the geographical diversity of the region makes that each natural area presents particular climatic nuances. Average maximum temperature: 37 ° C Average minimum temperature : 6 °C The distribution of rainfall during the year is characterized by heavy rainfall in the autumn, a slight decrease in winter with a relative maximum in early spring, summer is generally dry. The more important rainy period lasts from October to May, with 9-10 rainy days per month for an annual average of 84 rainy days. 1. 1- Craft business : The city of Fez is considered as the capital of craftsmanship. It

involves the majority of artisans and handicraft activities. It represents 16% of the national turnover. The main craft activities are: ceramics and pottery, tapestry, wood crafts. , basketry, silver and gold ware,, copper and brassware, silk articles and embroidery, leather goods, leather clothing, sculpture and wood painting, metalwork ... etc. Fez counts 52 888 artisans in 2015 (Source: Regional office of Handicrafts of Fez).
