Premium self-polishing antifouling

Sigma SylAdvance 800 is the hydrolyzing antifouling that is tailored for the future. With its silyl-acrylate binder it is self-polishing, self-smoothing and gives impeccable results on deep sea and coastal vessels. Sigma SylAdvance 800 can be specified for both Newbuildings and Maintenance & Repair.

Having a highly predictable, linear polishing rate in combination with a self-smoothing capability, Sigma SylAdvance 800 reduces both the leached layer and the average hull roughness. In turn this leads to significant emission reductions and consistent fuel savings.

With an unusually high solid content of 54% (VOC lower than 400 g/liter) Sigma SylAdvance 800 is fully compliant with the IMO Antifouling Convention (AFS/CONF/26). Its biocides have been carefully chosen for their quick degradability and reduced environmental impact.
