General Installation Instructions
WARNING!
These servicing instructions are for use by trained personnel only. To reduce risk of electric shock, refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
Site requirements An ambient temperature should be maintained between 10 deg C (45 deg F) and 30 deg C (95 deg F) at a relative humidity of 10-90% (non-condensing).
WARNING!
To avoid electric shock, never remove the unit’s cover. There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel. Failure to comply may result in equipment damage and/or personal injury.
WARNING!
Always remove mains cord from unit before removing the rear panel!
Electrical power connection
WARNING!
The equipment must be grounded to avoid electrical shock. Failure to ground the unit may cause equipment damage and/or personal injury. Particular attention should be given to supply connections when connecting to power strips rather then direct connections to branch circuits.

Installation
General
Mounting The control panels are intended to be put directly on a table top (on-desk mount).
They should be mounted directly against each other in the preferred order, using the heads of allen screws as well as pins at the end of the aluminium surrounds aligning the panels properly.
Then the supplied trims (with integrated script lights) should be mounted on left and right hand side respectively.
For separation of the panels, additional trims can be purchased (contact DV sales).
See ‘Mounting trims’ below for further instructions and Appendix A for dimension drawings.
Full Precision panel set
WARNING!
Never attempt to lift the complete panel set from the desk! Detach the panels and lift one by one.
Trim
Precision Installation Manual Installation 6
Mounting trims After that the order of the panels (left to right) have been decided, the protruding allen screws (normally used to align the panels) must be removed and the trims should be mounted with supplied Torx screws and screwdriver.
When done, attach the connector for the script lights to the side of the chassis.
