1. The banner & headline Your pre-launch landing page needs to cut RIGHT to the chase, and all the important information should be right at the top as the first thing your lead sees.
2. Introduce the problem Focus on the problem to connect with your in-need lead. “Is your business struggling with [audience problem]?” Example: “Is your business struggling with hiring great employees?”
3. Speak to the main benefit of the course: Get right to the main transformation, the solution, you are providing. “Learn to [course topic] to [main benefit]” Example: “Learn to use Facebook Live to grow your audience”
Every online course starts out as a collection of bullet points in a word document, or as a series of post-its on a wall, or even as a messy diagram on a whiteboard. From there, your ideas become a structured outline, then a curriculum. The final steps are planning and creating your lessons, then uploading into Thinkific. Getting to this stage takes some time, so we’ve put together this guide to help you outline your online course quicker, so your audience can benefit from it sooner.

Facebook and LinkedIn have much larger limits to the post you can write but you’ll want to keep it simple, and preferably pair the post with a relevant image to catch more attention.

Blog Post
The important thing to remember witha blog post is that you want to offereveryone value with the content you write.
In your blog post title...
Include any or all of the following:• Your course name• Your course launch date (or ‘coming soon’ if not set)• A call-to-action for your community to pre-enroll
Example: “Open for Early Registrations: The Marketing Playbook for Course Creators”
Though the purpose of your blog can be to announce your pre-launched course, and invite people to sign up for a waitlist, you should be formating the ask in a way that also provides some free content that your audience will find useful.
In the introduction...
Address the problem that your target audience is having that your course solves before going into how you intend to fix it.
Example: “The digital marketing world is always changing with the trends, and it’s hard to stay on top of the terms to know, strategies to understand, resources to bookmark, and more...”
In the body of the post...
Offer valuable content that connects with your course.
For example, if your course is about “Mastering Digital Marketing” your blog post can offer “5 myths about the digital marketing profession, debunked”, or “10 digital marketing terms to know”. This way, you’re still offering a new take with good content that eventually ties back to the course you’ll be launching.
In the conclusion include any or all of the following:• Introduce how your impending course is the solution for the problem• Talk about how your course will offer all this type of content, and more• Repeat the launch date and time of your course• Call to action to sign up for the waitlist• Link to prelaunch page
