What to bring?

Personal stuffs such as Clothes (Sweater, Jackets, ..), Bags, Shoes, Towel, ..

Enough prescription medicine

The essentials: airline tickets, passport and visa, cash (US dollar or Vietnamese

dong), credit/debit cards.

More luggage than you can carry

Expensive jewelry

Expensive electronics that you are afraid will be stolen

Prohibited things by the government such as weapons, chemical toxicity, drug,

fireworks, tobacco, harmful toys, depraved and superstitious products.

Note: ELECTRONICS

In Vietnam (and throughout Asia), electric voltage is 220V 50 cycles (not 110V 60

cycles as in North America).

Visa to Vietnam

There are 2 ways to apply for Vietnam VISA:

1. Find the nearest Vietnamese Embassy

Documents for visa are sent directly to the Vietnamese Embassy:

Visa application form (required)

2 photos of passport regulation size (required)

Passport with a validity of at least 6 months (required)

Visa fee: range of US$45 - 85. This fee depends on the Embassy and type of visa (required)

Return ticket (preferred)

Invitation letter from AIESEC (preferred)

Individual bank statement for last 6 months (preferred)

2. Applying Online (Visa on Arrival)

AIESEC Vietnam currently has partnership with Polviet.com – a Polish-Vietnamese consulting institution in

Ho Chi Minh City in term of visa processing for AIESEC members and interns to Vietnam.

You can apply online as following steps:

Complete visa application form.

Send email directly to [email protected], [email protected], and cc: [email protected] with

attaching the following material:

Visa application form

AN (acceptance note) from Vietnamese LC

scan of passport (page with picture – clear quality)

Date of arrival (landing in VIETNAM)

Select what type of VISA

Vietnam is now open and

welcomes all travelers and

business people to Vietnam.

Thanks to that, getting visa

to Vietnam is very easy and

simple!
