Hi Students! This week you should be working onthe lessons & assignments on your course pace

chart for Week 7. Make sure you have the minimum

assessments completed by Friday to be on pace, but

you may work ahead if you choose. Make sure to

read through the lesson carefully, take notes, andreview the assignment directions & rubric before

Module 1:

Explain how to solve problemswith exponents, multiply withexponents, and divide with

exponents, scientific notation andhow to utilize the order of

operations to solve problems. 

Module 2:

Explain how to graph inequalities,discuss how to and solve one andtwo step inequalities, and apply the

rules for reversing the inequalitysymbol.

Module 3:

Discuss the coordinate plane andits properties, real life examples ofslope, explain the different types

of intercepts and are able todistinguish between linear and

discrete functions. 

Module 4:

The student will be able to explainsystems of equations and provideexamples of the different types of

solutions that occur and applythem to real life situations. 

Segment Exam:

Students will be able tosuccessfully complete all

remaining assignments and thesegment exams.

terms, apply the triangle sum property, solve proportions andfind missing measures on similar

triangles. 

Module 9:

The student will be able tounderstand and recall

Pythagorean’s Theorem,estimating square roots, systemsof measurements and converting

measurements.

remaining assignments and thesegment exams.
