In addition, some basic IT skills would be advantageous. Location: This Level 2 Pre-Access Certificate is for students aged 19 and over who wish to progress to a degree programme and do not have the required qualifications. This course is not suitable for school leavers; please contact the college for other relevant courses. WHAT WILL I STUDY? This certificate for progression will help you to develop the academic skills you need for progression onto further study such as the Access to Higher Education Diploma. HOW AM I ASSESSED? You are assessed using a variety of methods to develop key transferable academic skills. These include: reports, debates, scenario based assignments, essays, posters and group and individual presentations. WHAT’S NEXT? Students may progress on to an Access to Higher Education Diploma.
