WW1 FINAL WEEKS ON SALE ///////////////// CLOSING SOON

Doors will close on Melbourne Museum’s WW1 Centenary Exhibition on 4 October. This world-first exhibition takes visitors on a journey of how the war was fought on land, in the air and at sea. The WW1 Centenary Exhibition enables visitors to encounter the story of the war as never before; focusing on what it was like for people at the time and its long lasting legacy.

Take time to reflect on this moving exhibition in The Tea Shop located on the lower ground floor. Created to complement the exhibition, the menu offers some old time favourites taken from our grandmother’s recipe books.

CITY showcaseHow to create an engaging event for 4000 guests? We kept it relaxed, fun & interactive to respond to a 'Melbourne' centric brief.

Our team opted for the Royal Exhibition Building to host the large scale occasion for Engineers Australia – we brought in a fleet of food trucks (even Mr Whippy!) and created a range of purpose built mobile food carts where guests could graze over a scintillating slice of Melbourne’s multicultural food scene throughout the evening. Engaging circus performers took centre stage, while a revolving line up of roving performers added to the atmosphere.

ANYTIMEANYWHERE Whatever the occasion, whatever the location, Peter Rowland Catering have been busy creating memorable experiences in and around Melbourne. Take a closer look at the hospitality maestros in action...

PRC recently partnered with celebrated fusion chef, Victor Liong of Lee Ho Fook to produce a sumptuous Chinese banquet to herald the closing of the National Gallery’s ‘Golden Age of China’ exhibition.

A lavish, one day only affair, staged in the Gallery’s magnificent Great Hall, guests feasted on four courses of Victor’s creative cuisine along with a final viewing of the beautiful Qianlong Emperor’s treasures direct from Beijing’s Palace Museum in the Forbidden City. Food and art brought to life!

To add impact to classic corporate events, why not add elements of unexpected interaction, fun and a dash of competitiveness.

Arcade games, virtual sports and video walls are creating a talking point at business gatherings – and a great complement to the traditional speeches!

PRC’s stylists love responding to a brief or creating a theme for an event – and we’re enjoying using pops of colour via floral, décor, table settings and more to bring energy to a space. Guests are responding to the use of native motifs and Australian bush flora for a different take on classic styling.

IN THE GAME

Roving bars that can move amongst guests are another emerging trend that can be created in any venue and in a variety of styles.

Think moving cocktail cabinets, mobile martinis, champagne trolleys or a boutique beer cart gliding around a function to different locales to serve guests and add a dash of theatre to drink service.

Melbourne Museum’s Touring Hall - one of the city’s most exclusive venue spaces will soon be available.

Featuring its own private foyer and courtyard, Melbourne Museum’s Touring Hall is the perfect space for product launches, AGMs and large corporate events for up to 1000 guests. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to host your most dramatic event yet – available only between 14 November and 31 January.
