  • Islamic Foundation is a non-profit organization located in Villa Park, IL, was founded in 1974 and since then has been serving the western suburbs community of Chicago. Islamic Foundation has the following programs:

    Services Provided

    All of this is made possible with Allah’s blessing and your support!

    Prayers: Daily prayers along with both Eids, Taraweeh, Janazas, and other special prayers. Hifz School: Hifz classes are offered and have graduated dozens of students Annual Foundation Fairs: Community participation and spirit of Volunteer-ism are salient features, this is a family event Youth Activities: Weekly Youth Athletics for Boys and Girls (Archery, basketball, volleyball, etc) and Interactive Youth Program Talk Show and Seminars. The programs bring Muslim youth closer to Islam and together with friends. Weekly Halaqas: Men, Women, Youth Banquet Hall: 500+ guest seating, full service for functions Counseling :Provide guidance on religious and social issues Matrimonial Services: Yearly matrimonial banquets and dedicated website Dawah Outreach Services: Introducing Islam to the surrounding areas Annual Foundation dinner and Special Fund raising dinners: A tradition of Islamic Foundation, organize special fund raising dinners with specific goals Annual Seerat un Nabi program: Seerat and Nasheed program popularly attended by women from all Islamic centers in Illinois Boutique Bazaar/ Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha: Serves the purpose of Promotion of small businesses in the community Food Distribution to poor: Supply food to poor and needy As well as food pantries in neighborhood suburbs every Month and during Ramadan and Eid ul adha Community Outreach: Liaison with churches and other Islamic Centers promote the activities for interfaith harmony and interaction with the local community

    Free Medical Screening: Hosts Health fairs Bi-Annually and every last Sunday of the month blood pressure diabetes asthma and obesity screening available on site Senior’s assistance Program: Provide information on Medicare and Public aid Ladies Luncheon: Held once a year for community women to update on our activities and take input for enhancements to our services and programs Monthly Seminars and lecture series: Monthly series of informative lectures; on health, nutrition and other social topics such as parenting etc. are arranged for the community benefit 50+ club seniors program: Senior’s program is held every last Sunday of each month program consists of discussions on social and health issues concludes with lunch Sunday Snack and Lunch Program: This program services the Sunday school students, snacks and juices are sold during the break time and a few lunches after zuhr prayers Turkey Distribution: This is done during the Thanks Giving as part of main-taining a caring and friendly relationship with the local community. Du page United: Participate in various community advantage related programs Working effectively among differences, division and diversity and Tools to create systemic change Adult Education: Classes are offered throughout the year, including hadith/seerah, spiritual, health, finance and business. Bookstore: A full service Islamic bookstore offers quality books from around the world. Zakat: Funds are collected and distributed to the needy throughout the year Quran Tafseer and Tajweed Classes: Weekly classes are open to the community relating to Tafseer and Tajweed
