Guidelines

1. The Johannesburg Melrose Shree Siva Subramaniar Temple Navagraha Prayer does not involve devotees performing Abishegam for Navagraha deities.2. All prayer items not used during the prayer are retained by the temple for use during the rest of the year3. Please request a receipt for all donations4. Guru Dakshinai may be offered (but not requested) by the Spiritual Head and Resident Priest5. All prayers MUST be booked with the Honorary Secretary or Administrator - [email protected] / 079 696 64456. Please be at the Temple 15minutes before your booking. Devotees that are late will unfortunately not be accomodated so as to not inconvenience7. All devotees are requested to dress conservatively and cover themselves adequately during prayers. Shorts are not allowed for men. Jeans, trousers and short dresses are not allowed for women. Men are encouraged to wear vestis. Ladies are encouraged to wear saries. 8. * Only applicable during the Amman Garagam and Varalaksmi Viratham Kuthu Villaku Prayer. Please look at the Temple Calendar for dates.
