2 Praise God for the many volunteers who give of their time and gifts in the different areas of Water Street Ministries.

3 Play for wisdom and discernment at today’s Leadership Team Planning Day.

4 Thank You, Lord, for providing employment for students that we have come to love through our partnership with YTI.

5 Pray for wisdom for Water Street Ministries as we continue the search for a new President.

6 Praise God for the many generous givers who blessed our clients with gifts at Christmastime.

7 Praise God for the opportunity to visit in the homes of many of our Wonder Club families as we distributed food boxes during the recent holiday season.

8 Pray that our patients will be strengthened in their resolve to follow-through with health care instructions and will take ownership of their personal health and dental care, etc.

9 Praise God for the positive response we receive from people who have taken tours.

10 Pray for health and safety for both staff and clients during the cold winter months.

11 Praise God for an 8 year old boy who has it on his heart to give to “people who are hurting“. He saved his money and made a donation last month. Then after taking a tour, he asked his classroom to collect plastic bags for our grocery distributions.

12 Pray for wisdom for staff members dealing with difficult situations with aging parents and family health problems.

13 Praise God for the turkeys and food donations that were donated during the Holiday Season.

14 Praise God for a patient in our clinic who said he had been ‘away from the Lord’ for 40 years, but now he’s back.

15 Praise God for the above patient’s thankfulness of serving a God who remains faithful.

16 Pray for mothers in our shelter who struggle to balance child care, work and making changes in their lives.

17 Praise God for the staff and clients who take the time to actively keep our campus clean and running well.

18 Praise God for the impact that a neat, clean campus has on our community.

19 Praise God for a graduate who just found full time work with benefits, including health care.

20 Praise God for the changes HE is making in clients’ lives as they seek to know Him better.

21 Praise God for two people who recently received Jesus as their Savior in our clinic.

22 Praise God for the support in our community, families, organizations, churches, schools, etc., that help us provide for those in need.

23 Pray for spiritual growth for the dozens of teens in our cities who attended a Teen Haven retreat this month.

24 Pray for wisdom and discernment for the Property Committee that’s meeting today.

25 Praise God for the many opportunities we have had recently to share the Water Street Ministries story in our community.

26 Praise God that a client just passed all 5 GED tests and earned his diploma.

27 Pray for a young mother who is working on her GED. Pray for strength and perseverance.

28 Pray for discernment as we work to more fully live out our core value of ‘service to the church’.

29 Pray for preparations for the upcoming “Top Chefs Dinner and Auction” to benefit Water Street Health Services.

30 Pray that the Water Street Ministries staff would keep their eyes on Jesus as they serve those with needs.

31 Praise God that 40 individual GED tests were passed in the last year, and that 3 diplomas were earned.

Each December, the ladies and families living at the Mission have a door decorating contest. The decorations range from wrapping paper and bows to Christmas trees to manger scenes. It’s really quite beautiful to see everyone’s creativity. This year, one family decorated their door with this note, a testimony to what God is doing in the lives of the people we serve. Thank you for partnering with the various ministries of Water Street and playing a key role! Today, let’s worship God together for his greatness.
