SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY 1 Most of the staff from Zam- bia and Malawi are on the roads travelling to their destination for the holidays. Pray God’s protection over them and ask Him to provide the finances that they need to travel and to enjoy a time of rest. 2 Pray for the interviews at Koti ni Eden for prospec- tive students (which includes applicants for our new agriculture certificate course). Ask God for discernment and clear guidance from the Holy Spirit. Pray for students with a mission vision. 3 Ask God to provide the finances for students. 4 Million Kwachas is always a challenge for them. Pray for faith – for all of them it is a faith venture to follow their dream to study. 4 Join the staff at all the FCE training centres as they spend the day in fasting and prayer, celebrating God’s grace, mercy and provision during 2011. There are so many things that we are grateful for and we want to rejoice in His goodness. 5 The staff at Wolseley is busy with their regional staff conference. Ask God for clear guidance as they reflect on the work of their hands during 2011 and are seeking God’s direction for 2012. 6 Continue to pray for the staff conference at Wol- seley. Pray that God will be the Author and Finisher of our decisions. Our hearts’ desire is to first seek His Kingdom and to be actively involved in building this Kingdom. 7 This is the last day of the staff conference. Pray that we will walk worthy of our calling and that we will rededicate ourselves to God’s will and plan for our lives. 8 Irene van der Merwe has been with FCE for a few years, serving the Lord and us all in the office. She is now retiring and we are sad to say good-bye. Thank the Lord for her years of faithful service and pray the Lord’s blessing over her. 9 Most of the Wolseley staff are leaving on holiday. Some have to travel as far as Namibia. Ask the Lord to protect them, to provide for them and to give them favour wherever they go. 10 It is high season for FCE’s biltong shops in the Strand and Somerset West. Pray for the production team at the biltong factory in Tulbagh, who is working hard to supply in the demand of the shops. Ask the Lord to bless our shops dur- ing this holiday season. 11 Ask the Lord to send in guests to our guest house in Somerset West. Pray for Riette, Kees and Tilly who run the place during December. Please help us to advertise our guesthouses and rest camps in Somerset West, Okahandja (Namibia and Kalungu (Zambia). www.kingshighway.co.za 12 During the holidays there is a skeleton staff at our training centres. Thank the Lord for volunteer workers who are willing to sacrifice their holidays and family time so that we can spend time with our families and friends. 13 Okello, one of our trained students from the Sudan, has recently returned to the Sudan after three years in Zambia. Pray for this young man who has a heart for his country and his people and whose desire is to train Sudanese teachers. Ask God to reveal His purposes and plans for FCE’s involve- ment in the Sudan to us. 14 Pray for the local lead- ers and government officials of the countries in which we work. Pray for our relationship with them and ask God to give us favour with them. Pray also that the way we operate will be a testimony of who Jesus Christ is. 15 Thank the Lord for FCE’s faithful prayer supporters. Ask the Lord to bless the work of their hands, to make them prosperous in their endeavours and to keep them faithful in their relation- ship with Him. 16 Pray for the Word of the Lord that was sown into people’s lives through the ministry of FCE. Ask the Lord to protect them from the evil one who plans to kill, steal and destroy that which has been revealed to them during their training. 17 Birthday: John Chitambo 18 Pray for the training centre in Malawi. Ask God to protect the premises while most of the staff is away. Ask God to guard the work that was done in the lives of the women of the surrounding communities and that not one of them will backslide. 19 Pray for the training centre at Kalungu. Pray for Georg and Karin and the team who stayed behind during the holidays to run the place. Pray that the vegetable project will flourish. Pray for guests to stay over at the camping site and pray for the finances to complete the reception. 20 Pray for the training centre at Koti ni Eden. Ask the Lord to protect our premises and our equipment. Pray for the staff and volun- teers who are responsible to run the place and pray that they will utilise the time to visit and reach out to each other. 21 Pray for the Headquar- ters at Wolseley. Most of the staff is away. Pray for the protection of the buildings and all our equipment. 22 Ask the Lord for the finances that are still needed to build houses and single quarters for our staff at Koti ni Eden. It is our hearts’ desire to provide proper ac- commodation for those who labour diligently. 23 Birthday: Elma du Toit 24 Pray for the families, friends and prayer supporters of FCE. They are the ones who keep us on the mission field with their love, support and prayers. Use this day to reach out in love to one another and to remind each other of the love of the Father who sent His only Son to redeem us. 25 For unto us a CHILD is born, unto us a Son is given: And He will be called: Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Is. 9:6 -7) It is all about Him! 26 Ask the Lord of the Harvest to send in harvesters with the message of the manger, the cross and the empty grave. 27 Pray for the children of the FCE staff. Like all other children, they have to Learn to discern between right and wrong, good and evil. Pray for their relation- ship with the Lord and that they will make the right choices in life. 28 During 2011 the Lord came through in mar- vellous ways for FCE. Thank Him for finances to complete projects, to travel, to run our training centres, to meet our personal needs. Praise Him for protection as we travelled world-wide, for healing the sick, for comforting the faint- hearted and above all for loving us unconditionally. 29 During 2011 we had many opportunities to lead students to see the world as God sees it and to come to know Him. Pray for the protection of the seed that was sown in their hearts and pray that they will continue to run the race that was set before them. 30 We look back on a blessed year and bring thanks with a grateful heart to the Holy One who is and was and is to come.
