INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Net-Inspect, the Aerospace industry’s premier electronic First Article Inspection Quality Management System. Net-Inspect is a Software As A Service (SAAS) application and is accessed

through the Pratt & Whitney Portal.

It is recommended Net-Inspect to be operated/accessed via Internet

Explorer (IE) Version 8 or higher.

1.0 Logging on to Net-Inspect

1.1) Contact your Pratt & Whitney Account Representative for the necessary Internet

Explorer (IE) web address and required log-in credentials:

1.2) After logging in, select “Home - Supplier” from the My Communities menu:

1.3) Select “Net-Inspect FAI” from the list of available options:

1.4) The Net-Inspect landing page will appear. On the landing page, enter your

physical location (country) from which you are logging on and click Continue:

2.0 Finding the Supplier’s First Article Inspection Report

2.1) Click on the First Articles tab at the top of the page:

2.2) Click Supplier First Article Management

2.4) Click Approval Pending E-FAIR

Click drop-down menu, select the country

you are logging in from, and then click

Click on the “First Articles” menu

3.1 The Supplier FAIR will display after being selected from the View All page:

4.0 Dispositioning the Supplier FAIR: 4.1 Starting the FAI buyoff process: 4.2 Approve or Disapprove the Supplier FAI: When FAI is approved, it will be updated to a status of Buy-off Completed. When the FAI is disapproved, it will be updated to a status of Disapproved For

Buy-off and re-opened at the Supplier for edit.
