The Second meeting of Special Focus Group was held on 25.03.2014 at 4:00 PM in theConference Room, Prasar Bharati Secretariat. The following Officers from Administrative Sideparticipated in the meeting:

The list of nominated participants from recognized Staff Association of PrasarBharati who attended the meeting is enclosed (Annex-I).

At the outset, Dy. Director General (Admn) , the Chairman, Special Focus Groupwelcomed all the nominated members of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes forparticipation in the meeting. Thereafter, representatives of Special Focus Group introducedthemselves to the Chair.

Akashvani Announcers Association CAAAl.

One of the Members of the Association had raised her personnel issues. Afterdeliberation, it was decided that matter of common issues of Scheduled Castes/ScheduledTribes only be raised in the meeting.

Association of Radio &. Television Engineering Employees CARTEE)

The Association had raised the issue of Special Drive Recruitment for ScheduledCastes/ Scheduled Tribes which has not filled up till date. The Chairman, Special Focus Groupinformed that all vacancies to be filled under special drive which were informed by bothDirectorates have been included in the ongoing Recruitment in Prasar Bharati through StaffSelection Commission

The Association had pointed out that regular DPC are not held. After deliberation,it was decided that both Directorates will take necessary action for timely DPCs,

Audience Research Employees Association (AREA)

The Association had demanded that Reservation Rosters may be shown to thenominated members of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes of the Association. It wasdecided the matter will be referred to both Directorates to look into the issue.

Programme Staff Association of All India Radio and Doordarshan (PSA)

The Association has raised the issue of Regular DPC/ Review OPe.They have pointed outthat Reservation Rosters had not been prepared due to non- awareness of rules and notraining had been arranged by STI(T) and STI(P). It was informed that the STI(T) andSTI(P) will be requested to arrange the workshop at regular intervals.

AkhiJBharitiya Akashwani &. Doordarshan Chaturth SreniKaramchari Sangh (ABADCSKS)

The Association has pointed out that SC/STPosts should not be abolished. It wasintimated to the association that action for filling up reserve posts would be taken as perrules.

Association of Doordarshan Programme Production Personnel (ADP3)

The association had demanded that the action relating to promotion/ MACPmaybe taken after due consideration on Reservation Rosters. The Association was informedthat action will taken as per rules.
