Class NewsletterTeacher: Miss Megan

Dear Parents,

FALL is my favorite season! Something about feeling the

crispness in the air and seeing the beautiful pumpkin

and apple decorations just makes me smile. There

are so many fun things we can learn about during

autumn so I will be extending our study to two weeks

instead of just one.

This week we will be learning about Johnny Appleseed,

apples/apple trees, autumn weather, and scarecrows

Next week we will learn about pumpkins, leaves, nuts,and squirrels.

This week our lessons cover the letter Ee (as in

elephant), the color purple, the number 10, the Bible

Story  – Moses, and we will be starting shoe lacing

practice.

Show & Tell

The color of the week is PURPLE Each child should bring

something PURPLE from home for show and tell on Friday.

They did an awesome job with orange show and tell last

week!

Thanks, Mrs. Desiree (William’s mom) for bringing lollipop

cookies for our class last week. The were delicious!

Johnny Appleseed Supplies

Johnny Appleseed Day…we couldn’t do it without you! Harvest Hoe Down

Kids should come to school on Friday wearing jeans,

flannel shirts, bandannas, cowboy hats, etc. We are

going to have a fun-filled, scarecrow stuffing, hay pile

 jumping, good time.
