A total All India demand of 1.82 Cr houses has been assessed so far inPMAY(U)
States/UTs to rationalize, validate and confirm the ULB wise demand forhouses and subsequently submit HFAPoA and AIP.
States to ensure Geo-tagging of BLC houses, Aadhaar seeding of bankaccounts and DBT mode of funds transfer
The North-Eastern States, UTs and Hilly States should saturate the totaldemand in the year 2017-18, to enable completion of houses in the year2019.
Other States to address at least 50% of the demand in the year 2017-18and remaining in 2018-19 so that all houses under PMAY (U) may becompleted by 2022.
States to give high priority to monitor progress of PMAY (U) projects sothat mission ‘Housing for All by 2022’ is achieved within the missionperiod.
