1. QAA/NES STANDARDS
• Known as the Practice Placement Standards.
• Identified Responsibilities of: Student Mentor Service Provider/Trust
2. CPPSU
• A support structure developed by Dundee University
• To give information, guidance and support to students and mentors.
• Information on placement profiles.
3. PRACTICE EDUCATION FACILITATORS
• To promote QAA Standards
• Oversee and guide implementation of standards.
• Give support to: Mentors Students
Facilitators Continued:
• To enhance and develop the mentor role and responsibilities.
• To help to develop the learning environment within practice placements to enhance the students learning opportunities.
