PRA, DPWH COMPLETE ROAD REPAIR WORKS IN PARAÑAQUE CITY The repair of the northbound and southbound lanes of President Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard (PDMB) and J.W. Diokno Boulevard, as well as the eastbound and westbound lanes of ASEAN Avenue in Parañaque City covering a total of 1,623.22 square meters of road area has already been completed as of November 11,2020, just in time before the onslaught of typhoon Ulysses in Metro Manila. The Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA) with the assistance of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Central Office headed by Secretary Mark A. Villar and the DPWH- National Capital Region led by Regional Director Ador G. Canlas, initiated the road repair activities which commenced last October 28,2020. The initiative was part of PRA’s repair and maintenance works for the PRA roads in Central Business Park 1 – Islands B and C, a reclamation in Parañaque City. The PRA credits the DPWH for its prompt response to PRA’s request for assistance in the immediate repair of the said roads. Their quality work involved repairs of damaged asphalt pavements through asphalt removal via cutting and squaring and asphalt replacement for patching of cracks and potholes.

PRA, DPWH COMPLETE ROAD REPAIR WORKS IN PARAÑAQUE CITY

The repair of the northbound and southbound lanes of President Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard (PDMB) and J.W. The immediate remedial measures were undertaken in response to the need to prevent continuous distress and deterioration of the damaged pavements brought about by the rainy weather conditions and continuous passage of vehicles posing hazards and inconvenience to the stakeholders and motoring public.

The PRA is committed to prioritizing the safety, welfare and convenience of its stakeholders and the motoring public. The Agency is continuously performing the necessary actions to complete its road rehabilitation, maintenance and repair works based on its current plan which will accommodate a total of 3,932.68 square meter road works in the area.
