This serves as supplementary education to students. e-LEAP or e-Learning Access Program a product of Blackboard Inc., an enterprise technology company with corporate headquarters in Washington, D.C. that is primarily known as a developer of education software, in particular Blackboard Learning System, its flagship learning management system. The company provides education, mobile, communication, and commerce software and related services to clients including education providers, corporations and government organizations. Since Blackboard was founded in 1997, use of online learning management software by higher education institutions and other organizations has increased rapidly. Background Information

NSTP was the first to utilize e-LEAP through posting notes, assignments, lectures discussion boards, announcements and a grade book and using the discussion board for the students under CWTS and LTS.

In addition, the e-LEAP also offered Web-Enhanced Courses (WEC) for faculties and colleges, which serve as supplementary education to the students.

The pilot test involved 500 students.

In its first year of operation, e-LEAP only had about 6,000 users. It rose to 12,000 in the first semester of AY 2004-2005 and to more than half of Thomasians in the second semester.

When the e-LEAP first operated during the second semester of AY 2003-2004, the initial WECs, mostly chosen for first- and second-year college students, were Algebra, General Inorganic Chemistry, Philippine History, Principle of Economics.

Voting for USTv Awards and The Student Council Elections are done through e-LEAP.

UST Tiger Radio can also be browsed through e-LEAP.
