4 yds: 23167-2 (backing)

3/4 yd: 23168-5 (binding)

Cutting & Assembly for center blocks: For each of the (4)center blocks, 12-1/2" unfinished, cut: (2) 4-1/2" squaresof #24185-2 and (2) 4-7/8" squares of #23168-5, (1) 4-7/8"square of 23166-6, (2) 4-7/8” squares of #24186-2, (1) 4-7/8”squares of #24181-2, (1) 4-7/8” square of #24184-2. Toassemble, make 4 half-square triangle blocks by drawing a

diagonal pencil line on the back of the pink 4-7/8” square.Then layer the pink and brown 4-7/8” square, right sidestogether, sew 1/4" on each side of the pencil line. Cutapart on the pencil line and press open. Arrange squaresper photo.

Fussy cut the family tree from #23162, (12 -1/2" unfinished),on point for the center of the quilt.

For the (4) side triangles, cut (1) 18-1/4" triangle of #23168-1and cut it twice on the diagonal, yielding four triangles.For the (4) corner blocks, cut (2) 9 3/8” squares of #23168-1and cut in half on the diagonal. Assemble center section,per photo, with blocks on point.

Border around center section: cut (2) 1-1/2" x 34-1/2" and(2) 1-1/2" x 361/2" from #24184-2.

Cutting & Assembly for Memory blocks: For the (4)memory blocks, 12-1/2" unfinished, cut: 7” x 7” squareof #23162. Fussy cut any of the engraving images of yourchoice and with a black or brown pigma pen, have funwriting your own favorite family memories on yourblocks. Surround this center with (2) 1-1/2" x 7” and (2)1-1/2" x 9” strips. Outside triangles: cut (1) 7-1/4" squareof #24184-2 and (1) 7 -1/4" square of #24181-1. Cutsquares twice on the diagonal and assemble block perphoto.
