Iowa State Student Organization Highlight:

Solidworks and CAD Club

Solidworks and CAD Club

The Solidworks and CAD Club has the purpose of providing students with practice in CAD.

Focusing mostly on Solidworks, but also includes AutoCAD, Inventor, and more. There are also

networking opportunities between members and companies that come once or twice during the

semester to talk about how work using CAD and its importance. Also, If a member shows interest

and participation during the academic year, the student will receive practice and a free code to take

the CSWA exam (and in the following year CSWP). The club welcomes members of all skill levels

and with experience in any CAD and programming software. We have our meetings once every

two weeks and have activities for everyone (Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert). Please join the

TRANSFER ADMISSION PROCESS CHECKLISTKeep up on important deadlines -- stay on track by following the

guidelines recommended on the transfer application checklist. As

an E-APP member, you are one step closer to being admitted to

Iowa State, but you must still officially apply for admission. You can

complete that first step as early as one year in advance of your

intended ISU start date.
