Dear Mr. Moritz and Family:
Happy Holidays from Mohawk Day Camp! In this season of giving, Mohawk is
reflecting on the summer of 2013, one of our best summers yet! We could not have done it
without the help and support of you and your family, and for that we are most grateful. Looking
toward to a new year, we would like to remind you that we are continuing to look for
improvement. With that said, we are pleased to announce that our ongoing talks with the Boston
Red Sox and Chicago Cubs have ended, and they have agreed to let us build a replica field based
Fenway Park and Wrigley Field!
Our maintenance staff (the best around!) has already started to work on the development
of the fields. The groundwork and foundation have been completed, and we are eagerly waiting
for the ground to loosen up a bit to start constructing the fields. Both fields should be ready for
the 2014 summer, and we could not be more thrilled.
Along with the new fields, we'd also like to announce that Janice Smith, renowned drama
coach in Westchester will be joining our drama team in 2014, and bringing along with her
prefabricated closets filled to the brim with varieties of outfits and costumes for our young
aspiring actors and actresses to wear and transform themselves! We hope that you, Miranda,
Jesse and Andrew will join us next summer, as we have put in much effort to make sure it will be
better than the last.

Our annual Open House, which is always a hit among children and parents alike, will
take place Saturday, April 7, 2014. Just to be safe, our rain date will be the next Saturday, April
14, 2014. For more information, you can visit our website at campmohawk.com. There you will
find information, frequently asked questions (FAQs) and see more about our new programs and
activities (we think Jesse will like what we have in store for our drama group this year and
Andrew for the new fields!)
