Short Solution DescriptionAmadeus Electronic Ticketing Direct product allows authorized Travel Agents to issue etickets on the validating carrier e-ticket stock.Moreover Travel Agents have access to all follow-up transactions on its own e-
tickets.When using the “Direct” option, the tickets
issued/voided/revalidated/reissued/refunded will be available for the Travel Agent in specific Amadeus Sales Reports instead of the traditional Amadeus market ones and this information will be transmitted directly to the airline’s revenue accounting system.

E-ticketing Direct e-Ticket Issuance
The agents will be able to select the ticketing carrier at time of issuance by simply adding the modifier ‘/T-XX’ where XX is the carrier code.
Accounting CouponsAccounting coupons will be printed on a broadcast printer. The following
coupons will be available with a standard layout:• Itinerary receipt• Audit coupon• Agent coupon• Credit Card Charge form• Passenger couponThe printing or not of these coupons can be defined by the airline at
implementation time. Forms of payment
In order to issue these e-tickets, the agents will be restricted to the forms of payment defined by the airline.

E-ticket Quota Control
e-Ticket Quota Control
Thanks to e-Ticket Quota Control, an airline can manage the number of e-ticket issued in NON BSP markets where they deploy Amadeus e-Ticketing Direct.
The quotas are specific per airline and:
• set per IATA T/A;
• defined per sales period (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly);
• automatically renewed at the end of the sales period;
• only related to the e-ticket logical stock. The airline manages the ticket quotas itself directly in Amadeus
system.

Amadeus E Ticketing Direct Customer Segment
All Amadeus IATA certified Travel Agencies working with Airlines supporting Electronic Ticketing functionalities in markets with or without IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP).
Value StatementAmadeus Electronic Ticketing Direct enables authorized Travel Agents to
issue Electronic Tickets on the validating carrier e-ticket stock and report these transactions directly to the airline revenue accounting system, without reporting them first to the BSP.
Prove it to MeToday there are more than 30 countries without BSP and without any
concrete plans from IATA to deploy a BSP.
Therefore Amadeus Electronic Ticketing Direct represents the only one way for airlines and Travel Agents to issue Electronic Tickets in those countries.
