Predator/ prey relationship: An interaction between two organisms of different species in which one of them acts as predator that captures and feeds on the other organism that is the prey.

Like, when Jaguars eat Golden Lion Tamarins

Predator/ prey relationship

Symbiotic relationship:Benefits each organism

When, remoras clean sharks

Water lilySunlight: Water lilies don’t really compete for sunlight, they get most of they nutrients from water.Water: Water lilies have easy access to water, hence the name Water lily, but it isn’t to big of a competition Soil Nutrients: Surprisingly water lilies do need soil nutrients. Water lilies, like the ones in the rainforest, need to have an average temperature of 69˚ and needs to be buried under 60cm of soil.

Living space: If the water lilies are a smaller species then it will particularly grow in a smaller area, but if the water lilies are a bigger species than it will grow in a larger area. They adapt to there surroundings.Biotic factors: Since Water lilies are a plant then it goes through a cycle called photosynthesis, meaning it produces its own to be capable of surviving.

The difference between biotic and abiotic factors in an ecosystem

Biotic: Living or once lived organism, or the living part of an ecosystem.

Abiotic: Non-living physical and chemical factors in a ecosystem that affect life cycles.

The difffernce is that one is animals and one is like rocks or the sun.

Air pollution and the coloring of the peppered moth

Short term effect: the pollution may change the tress to darken and the moths then will have to adapt to the surroundings and have to darken the stay away from predators.

Effects

• The pesticides will start to kill all the animals like a domino effect, but it especially effects the top predator (Carnivore) because it then will have nothing to eat.

• 3 examples how humans harm the ocean: Pollution Toxic waste Farmers runoff
