Pre-Load Inspection
– Check your Tyres & Step-in ( Probable Inflatation Point )
– Lights working properly
– Brakes (both Normal & Power Brakes) working Properly
– Wipers properly working
– Leaks under vehicle
– Windows clean, nothing blocking vision
– Mirrors properly adjusted
– Must have a complete set of Covering Materials. i.e; Ropes, Tarpaulin Covers etc
– Check the condition of Truck Loading Body. If required, need to cushion the sides, & floor of loading body using thermocools & old cartons

At Time of Loading
• Ensure Materials / Load are properly Spreaded.
• Materials needs to be loaded in a “ SLIDING TENT POSITION” i.e; Droping from front to end & slanting to Sides. So that in case of Rain the water doesnot accumulate & slips down.
• Materials are stacked as per Samsung Norms only (Model wise / Permissible Qty only).
• At time of Loading, count all materials being loaded
• Do-not allow Loader to stand on Products. Ask loader to use Loading Ladder / Stacking Table.
• Ensure Not to stack H.A materials on these LED, MWO, HTP, DVD, AC-IDU
• Always Spread 2 nos of Tarpaulin Covers to cover entire load. Always use “CORNER ANGLES” to avoid Carton Damage.
•Ensure Proper Covering & Securing of Loaded Materials on Vehicles.
•Use Loading Ladder to Spread Covers & tie ropes. Donot Step on the Loaded Materials
Safe Lashing / Securing of Loads
BrakingThe load can slide forward when the vehicle brakes while driving forward, or accelerates in reverse direction.
Why do we need to Safe Lashing / Securing of Loads ???.....Accelerating
The load can shift backwards when the vehicle accelerates forward or brakes while moving in reverse direction.

Pre- Movement Check list
• Need to check all relevant Documents (Invoice / LR / Transit Way Bill / Bar-Coding etc.
• Incase of Part-load, need to co-ordinate with the other driver for timely reporting to delivery.
• Always collect contact nos of Concerned CDC, Customers Godown I/C.
• Contact the CDC, ensuring any kind of Traffic Restrictions.
• In-case of Multi-Party Load, properly mark the concerned materials per party basis. So that at time of delivery you should not be confused at, to what materials to handover.
• In-case of Multi-Party Load , Ensure that the materials for last delivery point is loaded at front & materials for first delivery is loaded towards end of Loading body.
• Provide accurate Mobile No to transport manager & keep your mobile Switch on.
DURING TRANSIT
• Adjust Vehicle speed basing on condition of road.
• Incase of Heavy rain / Fog where in Vision gets blurred halt in a safe location.
• Always maintain safe distance from Vehicles in front.
• Always drive in proper lanes. “Cross Laning” is not acceptable on Highways
• “Driving under Influence of Alcohol” & consumption of Alcoholic Materials during driving is a punishable offence.
• In-case while driving you feel “drowsy” or “tired”, need to park your loaded vehicle at a safe place (i.e, Motel, Police Outpost etc) & take a rest. When you feel ok, you can drive.
• Follow Traffic rules, & keep a notice of Loaded cargo.
• Always keep your Mobile Phone “On”, but first park your vehicles on the side & then attend the Call. After call is finished you start driving.
DELIVERY TIME
• Place your Vehicle nearest to Customers Godown.
• Submit the L/R & Invoice Copy to the Receiver.
• In-case any problem contact CDC & Transport Manager.
• Dock your Vehicle at Unloading Point.
• While removing tarpaulin cover, ensure materials do not fall.
• Count the Materials being Unloaded.
• After Unloading Complete, ask the receiver to sign & stamp the L/R & Invoice Copy
• Collect the signed & stamped L/R & Invoice (Transporter & Seller Copy).
• Submit the same at our Transport office
