PPG @ Kiosk Score Entry
This document walks the reader through the steps in entering their score at the Kiosk either by
scorecard scanner or manual hole by hole entry.
Score Scanning Only Enabled
Place the Scorecard or Scorecards in the top of the scanners tray vertically i.e.
portrait, either way up and normally with scores facing the player.
Note: - as the card has been folded that way it sits better in the tray, this is not essential though as both
sides of the card are scanned, so a card placed in with advertising facing the player will also scan.

The scorecard or scorecards will be scanned, gross scores from the grid uploaded, calculated, and the score
or scores returned.
The player or players STBFD, NET or PAR score will be displayed, if correct select Save Score to complete
the process, if in-correct select Edit
If a Pick-up was recorded no GROSS score with be displayed, instead an (Adj) GROSS score will be shown.
Edit the score/s where necessary using the Number Pad on the right, select More > for higher numbers.
A snapshot of the Player score area is provided (entry required by GA) to refer to the gross scores marked
in the grid that the scanner has recorded and calculated versus Player scores, once corrected select Finish

If there are unmarked or unreadable fields in the scanner grid the # of holes will be displayed, select Edit
If the scorecard does not have a signature below both the Player Signature and Marker Signature fields the
player will be prompted to please sign the card and Rescan. = less Signature disqualifications!
If a player tries to re-scan a card that has already been returned the message below will appear.
If a 2-player team event is in play and no Pre-Print Cards + Auto Teaming feature has been employed the
player who is the 1st from the group to scan their card @ Kiosk will be prompted to Select their
agreed upon partner. the other 2 players are then auto-teamed in the background pending score entry.
Note: - swinger groups should be pre-teamed prior in Player Registration using Ctrl on the keyboard.

Score Scanning and Score Entry Enabled
If a scanner is in operation and manual entry is also enabled at the Kiosk the button names differ slightly as
shown, refer above if scanning or below if manually entering.

If no scanner is in operation select
Enter your Card No which is located on the bottom right of the card and select OK
The Score Entry screen loads, enter your gross hole by hole score using the Number Pad on the
right.

If the player has a “wipe” select Pickup, select More > for further score options, when finished select
Save.
The gross score data is then uploaded to the cloud and competition score calculated.

The score is Saved, you are prompted to Enter Score for your playing partners if ready, if they state
Returned they have already entered their score, select Finished when done.
If a 2-player team event is in play and no Pre-Print Cards + Auto Teaming feature has been employed prior
the player who is the 1st from the group to enter their card will be prompted to Select their agreed upon
playing partner before tee off, the other 2 playing partners are then auto-teamed in the background
pending score entry.
Teams no longer need to be locked to the players position on the timesheet slot i.e. 1&2 + 3&4
and can once again be decided before play begins i.e. pre-determined or the random throw the
balls in the air on the 1st tee.
A level of trust is being employed that correct golf etiquette be upheld during this process.
Note: - swinger groups should be teamed prior in Competitions Player Registration using Ctrl on the
keyboard so no prompt appears on score entry, the low marker will always be the swinger!

Score Entry Correction in Scores
Select Scores and enter the players Card No and Enter or Tab on the keyboard
Select Edit Score
The Score Entry screen loads, edit the players score where necessary and select Save
Background Teaming in Player Registration
With a 2-player event before a score is entered at the Kiosk for a group of 4 they appear as unteamed.
The 1st player in the group enters a score, they are prompted to select their agreed upon partner, they are
teamed, and the other 2 players in the group are auto-teamed pending score entry.
A player from the auto-teamed group then returns a score completing the teaming process for the group.
