All bids are to be mailed and post marked no later than Monday, July 6, 2020. WANTEDBottineau County Highway Department is accepting applications for one Blade Operator. The successful applicant will be stationed full-time at the Newburg shop. DUTIES: Maintenance of equipment, blading, maintaining and removal of snow from gravel and asphalt roads. Other duties may include crack seal-ing, patching pot holes, mowing county road ditches, and truck driving. REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment such as road graders, etc. Must be available to work af-ter hours, on weekends, and holidays during road and weather emergen-cies and have the ability to lift or carry several items with a total weight of 75+ pounds; must have at least a Class B driver’s license or the ability to obtain one within the 60 days of employment, a minimum of 3 years experience is preferred but not required. All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. SALARY : Salary will be set depending on applicant’s experience.
