Setting Up PPA Integration

GENERATING YOUR API KEY

1. Log into GuildCare NG platform 2. In the blue banner menu at the top of the screen, select Admin

3. In the black menu pane on the left, select Pharmacy Programs Administrator

4. The PPA Integration Settings screen will display. Click onto Get your PPA integration details, or alternatively log in to your PPA account via https://app.ppaonline.com.au/home

FINDING YOUR API KEY IN PPA

1. Log in to the PPA Portal using the account for which you wish to generate the API Key

2. In the banner menu at the top of the screen, select the your name/profile icon

3. A drop-down list of options displays. Click on the Profile option

4. The User Profile screen displays. Click on the View Profile button

5. The Manage Your Account screen displays. Your ID is visible in the first greyed out field. Click on the Generate Key button on the right of the API Key field

5. Your API Key will be generated and displayed in the field. Ensure that you save a copy of your API Key for documentation

6. Click on the Save button

7. The Confirm User Profile Update pop-up displays. If you forgot to copy and save your API Key in Step 5, click on the “Wait I need to save my key!” button. The pop-up will close and return you to the screen so that the API Key can be copied and saved.

8. Click on the Update button to confirm the API Key

9. The Manage Your Account screen will be updated

10. All tasks required in the PPA Portal have now been completed to allow integration with GuildCare NG

Note: Single PPA Account for Multiple Pharmacies

If your PPA Account credentials (ID and API key) are shared across multiple providers/pharmacies –

please securely save and share these details with your other sites to use for log-in

INPUTTING YOUR ID AND API KEY IN GUILDCARE NG

1. Copy your ID from the PPA portal in the ID field

2. Copy your API Key from the PPA Portal in the API Key field

3. Copy the pre-populated date that the API Key expires from the PPA portal and enter into the Expires field

4. Select the pharmacy in Provider that you would like to use to start claiming for services. A list

of available programs will be visible 5. Click Connect once details are valid

Submitting Claims on GuildCare

GENERATING A CLAIM REPORT

1. In the blue banner menu at the top of the screen, select Reports

2. In the black menu pane on the left, select 6CPA

3. Select PPA Claims from the drop-down menu

4. A summary of MedsCheck/Diabetes MedsCheck and HMR cases will appear and can be filtered using the four filters (as follows):

• Status: Eligible, Ineligible, Failed, Submitted

Status Explanation

This service is eligible for 6CPA claiming

This service is ineligible for 6CPA claiming

Claim submission failed Reason for failure will appear in the Information column

Claim submission successful

• Service(s): Select Homes Medicines Review and/or MedsCheck/Diabetes MedsCheck

5. Select your preferred filters and click Search to generate updated results - a filtered list of completed services will appear

SUBMITTING CLAIMS

1. To select all cases, click onto the check-box on the top left corner of the table. Alternatively, you can click the check-box next to each case to submit individually

2. Click Submit to PPA

3. Agree to the Claim Declaration by selecting the check-box next to “I have acknowledged and

agree to the above”. Click on Submit

4. Submitted cases should disappear after submission

5. All processed cases are viewable by selecting Failed/Submitted statuses in the PPA Claims tab - successful cases will have a PPA Claim Number in the Information column and can be viewed in the Service History in the PPA Portal shortly after submission

• To view Submitted cases, choose Submitted in the status filter:

• To view Failed cases. choose Failed in the status filter:

• Payment is processed at the end of each business day • Each claim submitted will have a separate remittance advice
