Voted on by the Hollywood Foreign Press, the Globes celebrate the year’s achievements in TV and film and have been a very good precursor to who wins the Oscar in March. The Golden Globes, hosted by Brit comic and creator of ‘‘The Office,’’ Ricky Gervais, airs at 8 tonight on NBC, Channel 2.
