Notes: Under a free account teachers are not connected to students in any way. Also videos made can’t be downloaded and can only be shared to YouTube or Wistia. This could make it difficult for students to share projects with the teacher.

Preferred Use will be for the teacher to create their account and have students use it to generate their work. A generic password would be needed for all students to use.

What information do we collect from you and when?When buying a PowToon subscription or signing up for a free account, we request information such as your name, email address, home address, credit card information (should you purchase an account) and profession. Of course, you may also visit our site anonymously.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter or submit any personal details to PowToon.

We offer the use of a secure server: All sensitive information, including credit card details, is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database which is only accessible to those authorized with special access to each system. These people are required by law to keep all information on our systems confidential.

NOTE: After any transaction, your private information (credit card details, financial information etc.) is immediately deleted from our servers. We do not store this sensitive information.

Do we use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small files that our site transfers to your computer (if you allow), that enables PowToon to recognize your browser and capture, and remember certain information.
