Today’s PowerPoint Session

The aim of today’s session is to show you how to put a few basic slides together using different formats and styles.

You are going to create three different style slides detailing some interesting facts about Hastings.

Too much text can be a bad thing!!

When presenting information in paragraph styleyou will need to consider the amount of information

you actually need to include in the slide, the fonttype and the font size, and also the number of

paragraphs that you want to include.

Often too much information on a slide will appearconfusing and, if the font is too small, some of

the group you are presenting the information to – maynot easily be able to read it.

Often it is best to keep the information on a slide to the minimum – and add additional information verbally.
