TECHLAUNCH: PROJECTS FOR THIS SEMESTER• Wise Sutures

– Wireless sensing technology that can be applied to sutures that are capable of detecting and communicating post-surgical complications like sudden bleeding and infection

• BICEPS– BICEPS is proprietary platform using pulse electromagnetic fields to

activate mitochondria within muscle without stress or strain• High Performance Flexible Pressure Sensor

– A new kind of solid state flexible pressure sensor with a high sensitivity and a wide operating pressure range (> 100 kPa). It has strong potential applications such as tele-health sensing, consumer wearable devices and automotive use cases.

• Laser Flowmetry– A non-invasive fibre-based photonic device for high-frequency real-time

measurements of flow dynamics of turbid fluids. Soft Robotics • Exoskeleton

– Soft robotic exoskeleton that augments the muscle functions of its users
