1. STUDENT IDIt is very important to have your Student ID with you and displayedat all times when you are on campus. Students are required topresent original payment receipt (full-payment for the 1stSemester) to Campus Central (Block A, Level 2) to take a digitalpicture for the Student ID.

2. PEDESTRIAN ACCESS CARDIf you are staying in PJS 7 area, or taking public transportation (i.e.the RapidKL Bus 783 or BRT) from home to Lakeside Campus, youmay apply for a pedestrian access card to gain access to the campusvia the pedestrian gate. To apply for one, please apply throughCampus Central portal, and come to Campus Central (Block A, Level2) to make payment and to collect your card.

3. PARKING SYSTEM IN LAKESIDEFree parking bays are available at Zone H and Zone I in LakesideCampus. Parking fee of RM3 per entry is applicable to Zone J andbasement parking at the Boardwalk. The parking facility is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please look for alternative sites if all theparking bays are taken up.

4. COMMUTING TO LAKESIDE CAMPUSThe means of public transportation available for commuting toTaylor’s Lakeside Campus are detailed in the pages listed below.

5. DRESS CODE POLICYStudents must dress neatly with clean attire at all times. Studentsare advised to be mindful of the cultural sensitivities of others andthe academic environment.

6. SMOKE-FREE CAMPUS ENVIRONMENTSmoking is not permitted on Taylor’s campus grounds. The SyopzMall is also a smoke-free mall except for the designated smokingarea located at LG2 (in front of Happy Wash). Students foundsmoking on campus grounds will face the below consequences:

First-time offenders will be given a verbal warning and their detailswill be recorded in a database by Student Welfare Department.

For a second offence, the student will be fined RM50 and receive awarning letter from the College.

If a third offence is committed, the student will be fined RM100 andbe subjected to disciplinary action.

Note :For those taking RapidKL 783 Bus or BRT, you need a Pedestrian Access Card to enter the Campus.Please refer to page 3 (Arriving at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus), point no. 2 for details.

Students may commute to Taylor’s Lakeside Campus using public transportation such as BRT Sunway Line (SunMed Station), KTM Komuter(Sentul – Port Klang Line), LRT (Kelana Jaya Line), Rapid KL 783 bus (from Kelana Jaya), or using the Taylor’s shuttle buses.

1. What is e-Orientation?e-Orientation scheduled for the 10th of April, Friday is a self-directed online orientationexperience where you can get access to all information you need before your arrival here atTaylor’s Lakeside Campus and, participate in meaningful engagement activities. All theinformation you need regarding Campus Central Services, Campus safety measures, as wellas your Faculty Briefings will only be a click away. Enjoy learning all that is to know aboutTaylor's, through the Taylor’s Integrated Moodle e-Learning System (TIMeS).

2. Why e-Orientation?Following up from the communication from Professor Michael Driscoll on 19th of March onCampus Central Portal with the posting titled, “Postponement of March SemesterCommencement by 2 weeks”, the e-Orientation is one of the many steps the University andCollege is taking, to help mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 virus amongst our campuscommunity. The e-Orientation is to be accessed from the safety of your home to minimisesocial interaction. You can experience your orientation online anytime and anywhere withcomfort and convenience. Students will not be required to be physically present oncampus.

3. What will I be receiving before the e-Orientation on 10th April,Friday?You will be receiving the e-Orientation Guide and e-Orientation Timetable via your emailon 6th April, Monday to help you navigate TIMeS on your first-time use. The e-OrientationGuide is a step-by-step guide on how to log into TIMeS and participate in the e-Orientation.The e-Orientation Timetable is to help ensure your time spent on e-Orientation is guided. Alle-Orientation materials in TIMeS will be available for viewing and engagement on the 10th

April, Friday (9am onwards).

4. What do I need for e-Orientation?You will need an internet connection and a computer or a mobile device for a seamless e-Orientation experience.

5. Will I miss out on the fun of Orientation?The e-Orientation team have carefully crafted an online engagement plan and activities tohelp you stay connected, socialise online with new friends and have fun. It will be listed inthe e-Orientation Timetable.

6. What is next after my e-Orientation and how do I now transitioninto e-learning for my Programme Modules?Detailed instructions will be listed in your e-Orientation Guide under the section ofClassroom Continuity Plan: How to participate in online learning through TIMeS onceorientation has been completed. All regular classes will commence on 13th April, Monday.As a continuing precaution to ensure social distancing, the first week of classes will beconducted via e-learning in TIMeS from 13th April, Monday until 19th April, Sunday. This is tobe accessed from the safety of your home to minimise physical interaction with fellow peersor lecturers. All interactions will strictly be done via online chats that are available. Face toFace lectures, tutorials and practicals will commence from 20th April, Monday.

7. How do I obtain latest important information from Taylor’s?Please check the Campus Central Portal regularly to be updated with the latest information.
