Our Adventure with eIDAS
o First time that it was recognized a function that we have done since 2007 with the registered
sms and many services followed.
o We are not a CA (Certification Authority), we don’t want to be a CA and we have many CAs as
customers and we don’t want to compete with them.
o We wanted to be one of the first ones in the next race.
o As always , we wanted to use KISS technology ( Keep it Simple Stupid…)

o We developed a new methodology, letting everyone to do it’s own work. We have wonderful
Qualified CA in many countries and many markets. Let’s give them the opportunity to play it’s
role.
o We developed a Qualified CA proxy deployed in our network, managed by a Qualified CA who’s
in charge to verify the digital certificate presented by the destination customer to access the
info

o We presented this methodology to become one of the first qualified E-delivery providers
o The greatest advantage is the ability to use the actual digital signature deployments and the
actual Ecosystem
o Now in final process, probably we’ll be the first in Spain and one of the very few in Europe
