Can you make a field day contact through a repeater?

27 Hours, 1800 UTC to 21 UTC (but not for us)

No & Yes

No for ground repeaters

Yes for Satellites

Can you participate in multiple Field Day Locations?

Yes, as long as you don’t make a QSO with them

Our hours, 11:00 AM Saturday to 11:00 AM Sunday

Operate for 24 hours straight on emergency power

Have 300 or more visitors, Demonstrate Amateur Radio

to the public

Hold 3 or more seminars

Contact all 50 states in 24 hours

Make 1,100 contacts in 24 hours

Field 60 operators in 24 hours of on-the-air operating

Have FUN!!!!!

Work as many stations as possible

On all Amateur Bands (Except 60, 30, 17 and 12

Meters)

Learn to operate in abnormal situations

Less then optimal conditions

Emergency Power (Generators, Solar Power Etc…)

Educate the General Public about Amateur Radio

Meet the Challenges of Emergency Preparedness

Setup and Tear Down Raffle ($100 Gift Certificate)

1 Raffle Ticket for each person active in Setup

2 Raffle Tickets for each person active in Tear Down

Operator Raffle ($100 Gift Certificate)

1 Ticket for every 25 contacts (250 tickets per person

maximum)

Everyone who Volunteers and/or Operates will receive

a certificate of participation this year.

Remember to sign in when you arrive

Encourage new, inactive and non hams to make at least

one contact

Learn to transmit on HF

Anyone licensed since last year (Any class of License)

Inactive Hams on HF can participate

All Food Items to site by 5:30 PM

All food items must be ready to eat. No food prep at

the field day site. No Whole Coconuts, Watermelons Etc…

Some people have their favorite potluck dishes, they

are always welcome

Midnight – GOTA Station Active

10:45 AM – NTS message sent to K2MLS

11:00 AM – Field Day and GOTA Operations End

11:00 AM – Site Tear Down Begins

11:10 AM – Generator shut down

NO Alcohol, Firearms or weird Doughnuts Allowed

Camping Allowed Friday and Saturday nights

Larry will be working security Friday night. Join him

for a card game and help keep him awake.
