TRANSIT PROCEDURE (INBOUND)

INTRODUCTION

◼ There are customs offices located at each Container Terminal

area (entry/exit zone)

◼ An ATB number is a kind of refenrence number for temoprary

storing under customs supervision

◼ Required documents for opening T1 procedure at Container

Terminal:• T1 reference number (often named as „T1 Arbeitsnummer“)

• Copy of commercial or proforma Invoice

• Copy of ocean bill of lading (B/L)

• CMR Waybill

◼ “T1-Document“ is synonymical used word for the printed Transit

Accompanying Document (TDA) of the NCTS.

◼ In Germany the Local Reference Number (LRN) will be compiled

with “MRN“ as Prefix and colloquially named as “T1 Job Number“
