Basic Rules for Good Presentations

• Avoid busy backgrounds• Use contrasting colours that are soft on the

eyes e.g. light background and dark text• Do not use too many graphics or sounds• Place graphics off centre• Don’t centre bulleted text• Keep font size at least 18 pt
