• To this day in Croatia there are 8 wind powerplants with around 79 wind turbines

• Yearly they produce around 383 GWh of electricity (in comparison TE Plomin 3 produces around 2173 GWh)

• Most of them are in Primorska Croatia because of the strong winds

Hydro powerplant Ombla• Ombla is a river near Dubrovnik

• The river Ombla is situated on a sensible karst landscape

• There was a big discusion about the building of the Ombla hydro powerplant

• In the end it was decided that the powerplant is not going to be built
