Vydas says that the ProSeriesbargraphs are the ideal choicefor new applications, or for thereplacement of switchboardmeters, obsolete indicators, andset point controllers.Ametek/Dixson bargraphs areappropriate in any applicationwhere moving pointer metershave been used in the past, andin applications where greateraccuracy, readability, andreliability are desirable.

The microprocessor-basedbargraphs have red, green oramber LED and input signal

ranges which are are switch-selectable. Options are availableto solve most commonapplication problems, Vydasreports, including linearizationand min/max readings. The PROSeries bargraphs are rugged,have high resistance to vibrationand shock and there is aminimum of 88,000 hoursmeantime before failures(MTBF).

The bargraph has good user-programmability, providingversatility and minimizing theneed for spares. It has solid-statedesign with no moving parts.

Vydas says that the signalsensitivities span ANSI C39.1ranges, all conventional currentloops and voltage control signals.

Configuration programming isaccomplished using a PC seriallink allowing these modelsmaximum flexibility which can bepurchased set up and withappropriate scaleplate ready forthe customers application. Theinstruments are suitable for localor remote, primary or redundantsystem indication.

Model BG101P (single bargraph)and BG202P (dual bargraph)enclosures are form-factorcompatible with the Bailey RYedgewise switchboardinstrument. This simplifies retrofitinto existing systems withoutpanel modifications.NuclearClass II (seismic only) and Class I(1E) versions are also available(SH101P/SH202P andBH101P/BH202P respectively).

ABS launches pre-fabricated pumping station for wastewaterABS Pumps has launched theSynconta 801, a new pumpingand lifting station that allowsthe rapid removal ofwastewater from areas ofbuildings situated below sewerlevel. The company says that ithas developed the Synconta tomeet the growing demand for amid range lifting station, oftenrequired where small tomedium volumes of

Domestic sewage and effluent pump developedABS Pumps has added a pumpto its Piranha pump family that isespecially designed to provideincreased performance via theincorporation of a hardenedsteel shredding system and castiron impeller.

The new Piranha 09 unit is suitedfor domestic sewage and effluentapplications, ABS reports. Available in both single andthree phase versions, theinclusion of a capacitor in thesingle phase model and a relayin the three phase modelremoves the need for a controlbox - the pump can simply beplugged in and runs

automatically with start andstop functions controlled by afloat switch in the upper lid.

Piranha submersible pumps aredesigned for effective andeconomical dewateringapplications where smalldiameter discharge lines areused in private houses,municipal and industrial areas.Small diameter pipes aregenerally used when propertiesare spread over scattered areasor where large groundundulations are present, ABSsays.

The Piranha 09 pumps are also
