Realistic Expectations

• For how long should coaching take place? – Plan for 3-6 months or longer – Can vary depending on readiness and goals

• How long will it take to reach a goal? – Depends on coachee sticking with a plan – Set target dates in the beginning

• How long should coaching sessions be? – 30-60 minutes is most common – Can be longer if job-shadowing is included – Can be as little as 10 minutes
