Removing side load on your engine is a critical part of engine operation and prevents premature engine failure due to excessive side load on the crank. This is a Kubota side load kit fitted to a V1505 ready for fitting to a v-belt driven pump set. note the compact size of the unit compared to a PTO clutch. side load problem solved. Kubota has introduced new engine packages that have been through final testing and are now starting to hit the market in Kubota equipment. Starting with the V4509 (155hp), V5009 (200hp) through to S7509 (300hp). Hopefully in the next 12 to 18 months (in not sooner) these new engine packages will start to hit the Australian market and not just for machinery. Over their 97 year history in engine production, Kubota has grown into the world-leading manufacturer of compact, multi-cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engines up to 100hp, and now has expanded into the gas and petrol engine market. Kubota has announced the highly anticipated Australian release in 2020 of its new range of LPG and Natural Gas and petrol spark ignition engines. The new family of Kubota engines, the models WG1605, WG2503 and WG3800, share many of the same components found in the company’s heavy-duty diesel counterparts. Kubota engines are renowned worldwide for

Known for their extreme durability, the new line was designed to endure harsh environments found in oil and gas fields. Compared to today's common automotive-based designs, the Kubota engines will provide a much longer life cycle and offer many other benefits and program features for customers searching for a reliable solution in the improving oil & gas market. The new WG engines all are four-cylinder, vertical inline, water-cooled configurations. All are naturally-aspirated, with displacements of 1.53 L for the model WG1605, 2.49 L for the WG2503, and 3.76 L for the WG3800. Net continuous outputs on natural gas/commercial LPG for the WG1605 are: 37.3 hp/39.8 hp at 3600 rpm; 43.3 hp/47.3 hp at 2700 rpm for the WG2503; while the WG3800 has outputs of 65.8 hp/70.8 hp at 2600 rpm.

RK-RT SERIES Kubota’s single cylinder horizontal engines are made and used in long hour operations on pumps on many cattle stations throughout Australia. Their reliability and fuel efficiency make them the ideal engine for this type of operation or any operation requiring a low horse power slow running engine. The RK-RT range is available from 7 to 14hp

RK-RT SERIES

OIL RECOMMENDATIONS There is some confusion amongst users when selecting suitable oil grade for their RK and RT Series engines. The use of incompatible lubricating oils can lead to a lack of lubrication and premature failure of the engine. Research has established that modern, high additive, high detergent multi-grade oils are not compatible with the Kubota Horizontal water-cooled diesel engine, due to the possibility of the multi-grade polymers “shearing” and the design of the engines lubricating and oil filtration system. It is recommended that the following grades be used with RK-RT engines

It is extremely important that maintenance and servicing recommendations as stated in the operators and workshop manuals be followed to ensure correct lubrication.

Recommended oil for RK-RT Series. Non multi-grade must be used SAE30, SAE40 and SAE50
