NEEDS.

FIBREGLASS VS STEEL

Fibreglass SteelEasy installation. Less than half the

cost of steel installation.High installation costs with

intense labour needed.

Minimal replacement costs,maintenance free, prolonged

life span.

Frequent replacement, highmaintenance costs.

Absorbs impact of heavy weights, returns to original position

after deflection.

May remain bent underthe same impact.

Does not conduct electricity. Conducts eletricity.

Non-skid, flat surface, comfortable to walk on.

Slip resistant, but has anuneven surface.

Lightweight, easy to handle, install and transport.

Heavier than fibreglass, difficult tohandle, increased transport costs.

Long lasting corrosion resistanceRapid corrosion even in conditionsof minimal chemical aggression.

Does not rust. Rusts.

UV resistant & moulded in colour, doesn’t require painting. Discolours.

Easy to cut and shape.High cost of shaping, cutting

and welding.
