Poverty What is poverty? the state of being poor and lack of
material needs or comforts. has existed for a very long time and
still exists today. estimated NO of people in poverty = 1.4
billion.
Body 21,000 people die every year of hunger or hunger-related
causes
We have plenty of food in the world for everyone but there are
still hungry people trapped in poverty
most common in many third world countries in Africa, Asia and
south America
Body about 7.125 billion people in the world and one billion
live in poverty.
134 million children 7 to 18 dont even get to go to school.
6 million children under the age of 5 die because of hunger.
Poverty is a big part of our world and it needs to stop.
Kids the age of 4 have to work 12 -16 hours a day just get 2.50
for their family They work on dumb and other dangerous places.
These kids are young and they are probably working harder than we a
wealthy country would. Poverty is a big part of our world and it
needs to stop!!!
