Potential movie opening-2 This movie opening focuses on a coloured brother and sister whom are fugitives hiding from the soldiers who serve the dictator. The opening begins with an establishing shot of an estate. It then goes into a shot of the sun, and a red balloon being held by a young girl who is looking outside of her window. There is then a POV shot of a hand approaching the young girl’s shoulder. The person is then revealed to be her brother who is scolding her for looking out of the window. The opening then progresses to a mid shot of the brother looking outside of the window into the grey and dark world, which he sees, and then proceeds to close the drapes. The siblings then hold hands, and there is then a close up shot of the little girl’s teddy bear, and then an extreme close up of the teddy’s eyes. The camera cuts to the doorknob as we hear a diegetic sound of someone banging on the door. The shot then cuts to an extreme close up of the little girls eyes, her brothers and the soldiers outside, and then to a hand attempting to open the door. There is then a countdown, followed by feet kicking the door in and the little girl dropping her teddy bear. There is then a long shot of the soldiers entering the house, followed by them seeing the teddy bear on the floor. The screen is then completely black and all we see is the glowing eyes of the brother and sister hiding in the closet, as well as their lighter, as it eventually runs out. There is then an over the shoulder shot of the soldiers getting ready to shot into the closet which the siblings are hiding in, and when they do, there is a close up

A little girl then goes and picks up a bag, which contains the same teddy bear that the previous girl had and proceeds to hold hands with her father and walk off.
