This participation is concentrated mainly in courses for improvement or upda-ting knowledge and competences (88%), and only 12% receive TIC specific training. If we consider the training for trainers courses in companies, the data show that the companies, that belong to the following economic sectors ( educa-tion and training, trade, hotel and catering and other services); are the companies that develop mainly this kind of training for their workers. In the case of the TIC specific training, it is especially significant in the educational and training sectors.Present Profile of trainersThe majority of trainers are 31 and 45 year old, with a slight predominance of men trainers, with upper secondary studies, who also play a role of inter-nal trainer in their companies, or in private centers essentially mainly in continuing training for workers. The Tripartite Foundation brings
We need to strengthen the training in Employment: For the improvement of the educational process will be limited if not power generation system skills. Why go to a production model in which skilled labor will increase (from 73 to 82%) and unskilled labor will decrease (from 27 to 18%),
which will require an ongoing effort to adapt to ensure professional competence and social cohesion.
Training for trainersChanges arising from the new role of trainers are more oriented towards the development and competences required by the labour market, assuming functions of management and personal training. Acquisition of skills and competences in TIC´s to enable them to use new methodologies of training.
Other needs of development of the figure of the trainers are: Accreditation of the trainer’s experience. Creation of a common standard of qualification of trainers.
Proposals for the future can be summarized in: To reinforce the training plans for trainers. To define roles, functions and competences of the professional profiles of trainers. To create a Professional Certificate, that includes not only the training but also the experience.
