FOOD & HOSPITALITY WORLD POST SHOW REPORTThe 21st edition of Food Hospitality World (FHW) exhibition successfully concluded at MMRDA grounds in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The event held from January 23-25, 2014 was

organised by Global Fairs & Media – the result of an association between Hannover Milano Fairs India and The Indian Express Ltd.

It witnessed exhibitors coming from different segments of the food and hospitality industry like F&B, interiors, kitchen equipment, housekeeping, bakery to name a few. Spread across

10,000 sq mtrs of the MMRDA grounds, the exhibition was host to approximately 300 national and international participants. The international exhibitors consisted of companies from eleven

countries across the globe.

FHW Mumbai was supported by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), All India Wine Producers Association (AIWPA), Hospitality

Purchasing Managers Forum (HPMF), All India Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHAR) and Food Bloggers Association India (FBAI).

Food Hospitality World proves to be a great platform for interaction, understanding, business generation and exchange of ideas. It has been a huge success for international companies

looking to enter the Indian market. They not only obtained information on Indian consumers' taste and demands but also generated an opinion from the audience. FHW serves a great

ground for interaction and meeting their potential suppliers and clients.

A total of 6,229 numbers of visitors attended the show over the span of three days.

The focus this year was in receiving more quality buyers from key hotels and distributors.

A total of 626 pre-fixed meetings were set up for the exhibitors combined, out of these a total of 512 quality meetings were concluded.

We received more than 1150 pre-registration requests and 812 confirmed their presence over the calls for quality visitors.

Apart from all above, we received many new contacts from the food and hospitality industry and the response from the exhibitor's end on the quality of buyer has been very

overwhelming.

FOOD HOSPITALITY WORLD – ONE SHOW, MILLIONS OF OPPORTUNITIES.

The Indian wine consumers have matured and have evolved a lot; there is a huge

demand for more varieties of wine. We are looking for importers in India to get our

product here. We can cater our products to any segment as we have a wide portfolio. We

have over 400 variety of wine under 34 brands and over 18 wineries back in Italy.

I am impressed with the product bandwidth of the exhibition since different people have come in.

Good product lines have been showcased in the exhibition like the wines in the Italian pavilion. The

exhibition has been organised well.
