Asian Machine Tool Exhibition (AMTEX), acknowledged for its utmost contribution to the growth of machine tool industry in India, opened its doors on the morning of 6 July, 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New

Delhi.

The biennial machine tools exhibition, spread across 19,534 sq. meters, brought to the table, an array of ingenious solutions, advanced products and industry expertise covering segments of metal working, metal

cutting, metal forming, tooling , quality , metrology, automation and robotics.

More than 450 domestic and international exhibitors showcased their products and solutions. Major participation was seen from countries like Netherlands, Italy, South Korea, China, Germany, and Taiwan.

The 4 day event succeeded in attracting more than 20,000 buyers from India and abroad.

Mr. R. Panneer Selvam, Principal Director, MSME- Technology Development Centre, inaugurated and graced the event with his presence. “AMTEX is a great platform to bring together industrialists and

knowledge leaders from the machine tools and engineering sector. With India focusing on innovation and Indian products through initiatives like Make in India coupled with growth in manufacturing that are

eventually boosting newer and unique Indian ventures. “ – Mr. Selvam expressed.
